Heavy rains take their toll on Mahe and La Digue

Serious road disasters are being reported all around Mahe as a result of the persistent rainfall.

There have been road closures in areas such as Les Cannelles, Bougainville and Anse Parnel on Mahe.

The situation on La Digue has been such that Police has issued warning and made available two extra numbers for people to call for assistance - 4238151 and 4238152.
